DAVID GILMOUR TO RELEASE SYD BARRETT TRIBUTE EP
EP will feature David Bowie & Rick Wright



According to Floydian Slip, David Gilmour will be releasing a 3-track Syd Barret tribute EP that will feature the talents of David Bowie and Rick Wright. The EP will feature two versions of Arnold Layne, one of which was recorded live with David Bowie who appeared at one of Gilmour's Albert Hall shows this past year. The third song will be a solo acoustic version of Dark Globe from Barrett's album The Madcap Laughs. The EP will be available for download online on Christmas day. The CD release will happen the day after Christmas.
